(VAN) Coffee prices on February 25, 2025, have sharply declined. Domestic coffee prices have dropped by VND 2,000, trading around VND 130,800 - 132,000/kg.

On the global market, both the London and New York exchanges saw sharp declines on February 25.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for March 2025 delivery rebounded strongly by $ 71 (1.26%), reaching $ 5,712/ton. Meanwhile, the May 2025 contract increased by $ 62 (1.1%), standing at $ 5,717/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for May 2025 delivery dropped by 0.65 cents (0.17%), settling at 389.25 cents/lb. Similarly, the July 2025 contract also declined by 0.65 cents (0.17%), reaching 378.90 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices dropped sharply today, with Robusta losing nearly 3% due to pressure from long liquidation. This pushed Arabica prices on the New York exchange to their lowest level in 2.5 weeks.

Additionally, Arabica prices have faced downward pressure in recent sessions as ICE-monitored inventories increased to 792,695 bags on February 24, up from a 9-month low of 758,514 bags on February 18.

Similarly, ICE-monitored Robusta coffee stocks also rose from 4,297 lots to 4,321 lots during this period.

Thus, global coffee prices on February 25, 2025, have dropped significantly compared to yesterday.

In the domestic market, coffee prices fell by VND 2,000 today compared to yesterday.

In Dak Nong, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are offering VND 132,000/kg and VND 131,900/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 132,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a price of VND 131,900/kg.

Meanwhile, the purchase price of coffee in Kon Tum today stands at VND 131,900/kg.

Thus, the domestic coffee price on February 25, 2025, is trading around VND 130,800 - 132,000/kg.
