The event took place within the framework of the "Harvest Festival of Sustainable Potato Production-Consumption Model 2024" and the "Workshop on Summarizing 2023 Activities and Planning for the 2024 PPP Working Group on Fruits and Vegetables" on February 27 in Gia Lai province. This event marks an important step forward in the strategic relationship between the two units.

Accordingly, cooperation in building a sustainable potato production model between Yara Vietnam and PepsiCo Foods Vietnam is not only a commitment to action but also a comprehensive strategy in agriculture. Both companies will coordinate to research nutritional solutions based on the Yara fertilizer product set to stabilize high productivity and increase potato quality.

The YaraSuna organic fertilizer model on potatoes helps improve soil structure and maintain ecological balance. At the same time, the model is combined with reasonable mineral manure solutions to create an optimal agricultural production model in terms of productivity, improving soil health, and protecting the environment.

The sustainable potato-growing model of Yara Vietnam and PepsiCo Foods Vietnam makes an important contribution to improving people's income, promoting community economic development, and contributing to the larger goal of sustainable food.

More importantly, the sides will seek and expand potato growing areas in suitable geographical areas, thereby helping to ensure raw material sources, maintain the stability of the agricultural ecosystem, and create a stable and flexible supply chain.

In addition, Yara Vietnam and PepsiCo Foods Vietnam jointly conduct training and transfer knowledge about crop nutrition and sustainable farming to farmers. Thus, it is ensured that farmers have all the necessary knowledge to implement advanced and efficient farming methods and understand better the impact of nutritional solutions on the productivity and quality of agricultural products.

According to Ms. Tran Ngoc Thanh Truc, General Director of Yara Vietnam, the cooperation between Yara Vietnam and PepsiCo Foods Vietnam will create consensus on models of sustainable agriculture in the potato farming community.

This model not only brings economic benefits to farmers through enhancing product productivity and quality but also opens up opportunities for them to participate in a modern agricultural system while ensuring gender equality when many female farmers participate and encouraging systematization in the transfer of knowledge and techniques.

The YaraSuna organic fertilizer model on potatoes deployed at PepsiCo Foods Vietnam's farm not only emphasizes the application of a specific solution but also demonstrates the positive and real effects that YaraSuna organic fertilizer brings to the soil environment and crops.

With strictly selected raw materials right in Vietnam along with production technology from Europe, the YaraSuna organic fertilizer line, when combined harmoniously with inorganic fertilizer, will help farmers improve soil health and increase crop productivity, thereby contributing to creating sustainable agriculture in Vietnam.
