The second sponsorship conference for the upcoming IPVS 2026 was held at Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City. It will bring together scientists, representatives from specialized agencies, international organizations, businesses, and experts in animal husbandry and veterinary science.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Rector of Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized that the conference aimed to provide updates on the event's organization, announce key themes of IPVS 2026, and call for partnership and support from both domestic and international businesses. It also served as a platform for enterprises to engage directly with the Organizing Committee on sponsorship packages, exhibition activities, communication strategies, and technical support.
Hosting IPVS 2026 marks a significant milestone as the university approaches its 70th anniversary, reinforcing its academic reputation and capacity to organize major international events.

The IPVS 2026 Congress is not only a global platform for knowledge exchange and international integration, but also a testament to Vietnam’s organizational capacity and its commitment to advancing the sustainable development of the swine industry - one of the key sectors in modern agriculture.
“With our role as an institution dedicated to education, research, and community service in agriculture, we see IPVS 2026 as a strategic opportunity to spread academic values, foster stronger connections among scientists, businesses, policymakers, and stakeholders across the entire pig value chain - from production to veterinary services, toward a sustainable agricultural future in Vietnam, the region, and globally,” shared Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Rector of Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City.
Held biennially since 1969, the International Pig Veterinary Society (IPVS) Congress is one of the world’s most prestigious scientific conferences in swine production and veterinary medicine. The event attracts thousands of researchers, veterinarians, industry professionals, and policymakers from around the globe. Vietnam's selection as the host of IPVS 2026 is not only a great honor but also a powerful affirmation of the country’s growing scientific capability, international reputation, and leadership in the swine and veterinary sectors.
The 28th IPVS Congress will take place from June 16 to 19, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City. This marks the first time Vietnam has been chosen to host the event, which is widely seen as a historic opportunity to elevate the national livestock and veterinary sectors, foster global technology transfer, and promote sustainable development.
