Currently, shrimp farmers in the northern provinces are urgently mobilizing all resources to quickly recover from the aftermath of Storm No. 3 and restore production. This is a challenging and arduous journey.
Storm No. 3 wiped away the hard work and investments of the people in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and other areas in an instant. Shrimp farms were almost completely destroyed, with severe damage to infrastructure. After the storm, farmers are struggling to clean up, rehabilitate the environment, and restore production, hoping to salvage future crops. The recovery process will be long. Support, encouragement, and shared hardships from the community will be a crucial foundation for shrimp farmers to rebuild their operations.
Upholding its sense of responsibility to the community, Viet Uc Group, a leading entity in shrimp seed production and the integrated shrimp value chain, has actively responded to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development\'s plan to support the recovery of aquaculture production after Storm No. 3 through various practical and concrete actions.
The group donated 57 million shrimp seedlings (equivalent to over 8 billion VND) and provided strong technical support and solutions to help the people in the northern provinces quickly and safely restore their new farming cycle effectively.
Shrimp is a key product that makes significant contributions to the development of the national aquaculture and agriculture sectors. The timely support from Viet Uc Group and other businesses will help the shrimp industry quickly recover and regain its position.
