As part of the State visit to Singapore, at noon on May 29, General Secretary and President To Lam and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong witnessed the presentation and announcement of cooperation documents between ministries, sectors, and localities of Viet Nam and Singapore.

The cooperation documents include: a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam and the Singapore Public Service Division; a Joint Statement between Viet Nam’s Minister of Industry and Trade and Singapore’s Minister for Energy, Science and Technology on strengthening supply chain resilience; a Memorandum of Understanding between the Supreme People’s Court of Viet Nam and the Supreme Court of Singapore; the Terms of Reference for Viet Nam - Singapore agri-food trade cooperation; a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of an Advanced Manufacturing Research Center between Becamex Corporation and A*STAR; the granting of investment certificates for VSIP projects in Hue, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Hai Phong, and Ho Chi Minh City; a Memorandum of Understanding on educational cooperation between Viet Nam’s Ministry of Education and Training and Nanyang Technological University; and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Communist Party of Viet Nam and Singapore’s People’s Action Party.

Viet Nam and Singapore share a highly dynamic, substantive, and effective friendship and cooperation within Southeast Asia.
