On the afternoon of May 26, a delegation from Shaanxi Daily (China) visited and held a working session with the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information about the development of their respective media agencies, discussed current challenges, and shared solutions to enhance the effectiveness of journalism and media operations in both Vietnam and China.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Cao, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper, shared that the newspaper serves as the voice of Vietnam's agriculture and environment sectors. It provides readers with the Party and State's policies related to agriculture, food industry, natural resources, and the environment; it also informs and exchanges knowledge on advanced production models.

In addition, the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper has organized and co-organized several national and international forums aimed at proposing and sharing sustainable agricultural production solutions adapted to climate change. Both media agencies share a special tradition: Shaanxi Daily was named by Chairman Mao Zedong himself, while the former Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper was named by President Ho Chi Minh, who also wrote its very first issue. This meaningful coincidence reflects the historical bond between the two newspapers and the two nations.

The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper expressed his hope that both sides will continue to exchange ideas, seek solutions, and support each other in developing print journalism, especially in the context of digital transformation and changing public habits in receiving information.

Currently, its annual circulation remains stable at over 270,000 copies, and its online platform reaches more than 14 million users.

Chairman Li Wei expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation with the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper through news exchanges, publishing bilingual content on digital platforms, and jointly organizing forums and seminars on agriculture, the environment, startups, and green development.
