Dong Nai Rubber Corporation has long been one of the leading enterprises in Vietnam's rubber industry. In recent years, beyond focusing on plantation development, the corporation has taken bold steps in applying science and technology and improving technical processes from raw materials to products. These efforts aim to increase product value and affirm the brand in both domestic and international markets.
According to Mr. Tran Thanh Phuong, a technical employee at An Loc Factory under Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, the corporation’s factories are currently processing a wide range of rubber products, including SVR 5, SVR 10, SVR 10CV, SVR 10-Mix, SVR 20, SVR CV50, SVR CV60, SVR L, SVR 3L, SVR 3L-Mix, SVR 5S, and concentrated latex. At the raw material intake stage, the company uses the AND-MX50 moisture analyzer (Japan) to determine TSC/DRC content, ensuring accurate test results for customers.

The factory's processing line is equipped with a modern rolling system and various supporting devices, helping improve production efficiency and ensure high-quality products meeting customer requirements. With their designed capacity, the corporation’s factories can produce approximately 200 tons of rubber products per day.
According to Mr. Phuong, to further improve processing efficiency, the factories regularly upgrade and adjust their equipment to optimize production processes. "Most of the machinery in the factories is manufactured and installed by Dong Nai Rubber Mechanical Company and Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, tailored to the specific production characteristics of the enterprise," Mr. Phuong shared.
Mr. Tran Duy Phong, a processing employee with over 20 years of experience at An Loc Factory, also acknowledged the positive changes brought by scientific and technological applications. "In the past, before the application of technical advances, the SVR CV product quality at the factory reached only about 80%. However, since the adoption of rapid testing technology right at the raw material intake stage, product quality has improved significantly, now achieving 100% in line with customer requirements. This is an important breakthrough that has enhanced both the reputation and production efficiency of the corporation," he said.

In addition to focusing on product quality, the corporation's processing factories have also innovated technologies to save energy, reduce emissions, and protect workers’ health. Various items, such as the cooling water recirculation system and residue separation and by-product treatment devices, have helped cut costs, optimize raw material use, and minimize industrial waste.
The factories are now implementing green, clean, and sustainable production processes to expand export markets, enhance the reputation of the Dong Nai Rubber brand, and meet stringent requirements from Japan, Europe, and the U.S. All products currently comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
Regarding strategy and development orientation, Mr. Tran Thanh, Director of the Rubber Processing Enterprise in charge of research and development at Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, stated that the company currently operates three processing factories producing a full range of traditional rubber products from latex and concentrated rubber.
In addition, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation has developed blended rubber product lines combining natural and synthetic rubber (such as SVR 10-Mix and SVR 3L-Mix) to meet the specific requirements of individual customers. In recent years, the corporation has paid special attention to researching and developing high value-added rubber products aligned with green, clean, and sustainable development trends.

A notable example is the low-protein latex, which removes over 90% of protein from latex, effectively addressing the issue of protein allergy in products made from latex such as medical gloves, condoms, and apparel. Another is TMTD-free latex, which does not use the TMTD/ZnO preservative system to ensure user safety for latex-based products. Additionally, low-protein block rubber product lines, such as SVR 3L-Low Protein and SVR CV60-Low Protein, have been successfully researched and developed. The corporation has also developed other rubber products, such as rubber tiles made from recycled tires blended with SVR 20, pet toys made from low-protein latex, and waterproof adhesives for construction made from natural rubber latex.
The corporation has successfully produced high-grade Pale Crepe latex, which features a bright white color and high purity. This product meets green and clean standards and delivers high added value. It is used in manufacturing medical supplies, pharmaceutical instruments, electronic and aerospace components, high-end footwear, sporting equipment, and food-contact goods.
In the context of increasingly decreased rubber areas in Dong Nai, due to local land-use conversion, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation has defined its core strategy as enhancing product value rather than focusing solely on output. The corporation is shifting toward producing green, clean, high-value rubber products with strong scientific content, as well as pre-processed raw materials that can replace fossil-based inputs such as silicone and synthetic rubber. This strategy aims to enable broader applications across various industries while meeting increasingly stringent standards for environmental protection and human health. The corporation is committed to delivering clean, high-quality, and safe products that comply with all international standards while aligning its operations with the nation's Net Zero 2050 target.

Practical experience at Dong Nai Rubber Corporation demonstrates that science and technology are the key to improving quality, increasing value, and affirming the brand. From the use of modern equipment, raw material control, and traceability to the development of green and clean products, every effort is directed toward the goal of sustainable development and enhancing the position of the corporation in particular and the Vietnam Rubber Group in general.
