On the afternoon of August 8, according to the Tay Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from August 10 to 16, a delegation from Tay Ninh, led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Lam, will pay a visit and work in Australia. This is an important diplomatic activity, reaffirming Tay Ninh’s long-term commitment to further deepening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two localities.
As part of the trip, in addition to working with the Consulate General of Vietnam and the Vietnamese Business Association in Australia, as well as meeting leaders of Australian states and the Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the Tay Ninh delegation will carry out various activities in Australia, including: promoting investment, trade and tourism; promoting high-tech agriculture; and hosting a seminar on “Fostering Vietnam - Australia economic, trade, and tourism cooperation.”

Through these programs, Tay Ninh aims not only to attract investment capital but also to strengthen trade connections, promote tourism potential, and elevate trade cooperation - supporting businesses on both sides in developing supply chains, expanding consumer markets, and boosting exports.
The province will also showcase its potential in eco-tourism, cultural tourism, and agricultural tourism, while attracting investment in infrastructure development and eco-urban projects - positioning Tay Ninh as a contributor to expanding future multi-sector cooperation opportunities.
Currently, Tay Ninh has attracted nearly 1,900 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects from over 40 countries and territories, with total registered capital exceeding USD 24 billion.
Among them, Australian investors hold 16 projects with total registered capital of over USD 90 million, focusing on urban planning, multi-sector technology transfer, and high-tech agriculture. In addition, Tay Ninh has three outbound FDI projects in Australia, with total registered capital of USD 161 million.
