Senior Colonel Phan Anh Hiep praised the responsibility of the local party committees and commanding officers in strictly performing combat readiness duties during the extended holidays. Additionally, he extended support and empathy to the challenges faced by officers during harsh and sweltering weather conditions.
"On-site units must continue to strengthen their information dissemination efforts, effectively implement deployment tasks, and strictly enforce anti-IUU fishing measures as instructed by higher government agencies. They must remain vigilant to prevent local fishing vessels from setting sail without necessary documentation. They must also effectively monitor local activities; investigate, verify, review, and handle cases of disconnected vessel monitoring systems at sea," emphasized Senior Colonel Phan Anh Hiep.
The delegation also conducted on-site surveys to assess the installation status of vessel monitoring systems on fishing vessels at Ben Da Fishing Port in Vung Tau city, and Hung Thai Fisheries Services's fishing port in Long Dien district.
The delegation also provided encouragement to the local officers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining composure in their duties. Additionally, they underscored the necessity of promptly addressing challenges, enhancing vigilance, and preventing unexpected incidents. This commitment aims to ensure a joyful and safe holiday for the local on-site units as well as the public.
