Scientific collaboration and technical advancements in the field of clean water

(VAN) On April 27, Tra Vinh University and Aquaworks Group from South Korea conducted an exchange and signed an agreement of scientific collaboration, focusing on research and develop advanced technologies for clean water.

Aquaworks Group is a prominent aquatic environment company known for its innovation, creativity, advanced technology, and outstanding quality. Aquaworks specializes in using cutting-edge membrane technology for water treatment and recycling operations. At the same time, it offers water treatment services using various goods and technologies, including the design and construction of wastewater treatment systems, and the production of exceptionally effective diffusion machines.

Mr. Yongil Shin, from Aquaworks, provided a concise overview of the research, development, and implementation of high-speed wastewater treatment technology and microbiological technology. The firm aims to provide help to Tra Vinh University in the installation and operation of water treatment systems. This initiative will efficiently save water resources, safeguard the environment, and address the challenges posed by climate change.

Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, the Vice Rector of the institution, expressed his satisfaction over receiving sponsorship from Aquaworks Group (South Korea) for the installation of water treatment equipment at Tra Vinh institution. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung emphasizes the significance of signing the agreement of cooperation in the research and development of clean water technology as a crucial measure to tackle the shortage of clean water and safeguard the environment. Collaborative research facilitates the exchange of information, expertise, and resources, hence fostering the development of innovative, streamlined, and economical technological solutions.

Both parties have reached a consensus to sign a memorandum of agreement to facilitate collaboration formally. As a result, Aquaworks Group has committed to provide assistance and supply a collection of water purification equipment for the purpose of research and technology exchange between the two parties. Additionally, Aquaworks Group will serve as a showcase area to present their goods, allowing for a thorough examination and comprehension of their functioning.

Simultaneously, they will cooperate on doing research on water treatment and supplying potable water for use in manufacturing and everyday activities, with a particular focus on tackling problems related to iron-contaminated water and saline intrusion in the Mekong Delta area. In addition, they will enhance human resource training programs to address the growing demands of this industry on a broader scope.
