Sticky rice IR 4625 (fresh) is priced at VND 7,600 – VND 7,800/kg; 3-month fresh sticky rice is currently at VND 8,100/kg.
IR 50404 paddy (fresh) is trading around VND 5,200 – VND 5,400/kg; Dai Thom 8 paddy (fresh) holds at VND 6,800/kg.
OM 5451 paddy is being traded at VND 6,000 – VND 6,200/kg; OM 18 paddy (fresh) is priced at VND 6,800/kg.
OM 380 paddy (fresh) stays around VND 5,300 – VND 5,500/kg; Japonica paddy remains at VND 7,800 – VND 8,000/kg.
Nang Nhen paddy (dried) is trading at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is priced at VND 6,650 – VND 6,750/kg.
As for milled rice, rice prices remain unchanged today (May 27). Varieties like 50404 and OM 380 are in short supply, with sluggish trading.
IR 504 raw rice is priced at VND 8,250 – VND 8,300/kg; IR 504 finished rice is at VND 9,500 – VND 9,700/kg.
Raw rice 5451 ranges from VND 9,600 – VND 9,750/kg; OM 18 raw rice holds at VND 10,200 – VND 10,400/kg.
OM 380 raw rice is at VND 8,000 – VND 8,100/kg; OM 380 finished rice is priced at VND 8,800 – VND 9,000/kg. Meanwhile, CL 555 raw rice is trading at VND 8,600 – VND 8,800/kg.
Sticky rice is at VND 21,000 – VND 22,000/kg. Regular rice is priced at VND 13,000 – VND 15,000/kg. Nang Nhen rice is at VND 28,000/kg.
Thai fragrant long-grain rice is trading at VND 20,000 – VND 22,000/kg. Jasmine fragrant rice is priced at VND 16,000 – VND 18,000/kg. Huong Lai rice holds steady at VND 22,000/kg.
Standard white rice is being purchased at VND 16,000/kg. Nang Hoa rice is at VND 22,000/kg. Soc regular rice is at VND 17,000/kg, while Soc Thai is at VND 21,000/kg.
Taiwan fragrant rice is trading at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
Broken rice OM 5451 is priced at VND 7,500 – VND 7,600/kg, while rice bran is trading at VND 8,000 – VND 9,000/kg.
On the export market, Vietnamese rice prices remain unchanged. Specifically, 100% broken rice is priced at $325/ton, 5% broken rice is being purchased at $397/ton, and 25% broken rice is holding at $368/ton.
