Releasing 1.5 tons of fish seedlings to recreate seafood resources

Implementing protection and seafood resources creating policy according to resolutions of Ha Tinh People's Council, on December 23rd, 2021, Ha Tinh Sub-Department of Fisheries coordinated with the People's Committee of Huong Khe district and associated units to release many fish seedlings into Da Han dam, Hoa Hai commune (Huong Khe district) to help recreate and generate seafood resources.

In this event 1.5 tons of traditional fish seedlings (barb, Cirrhinus, grass carp, common carp) with more than 14 thousand fishes released into Da Han dam. The seeds are provided by Do Luong Fishery Seedlings Cooperative (Nghe An) - a supplier of quality-ensured fish seedlings.

The release of fish seedlings to recreate seafood resources is a meaningful and realistic policy of Ha Tinh province with the goal to protect, regenerate the reduced seafood resources in the area and protect the ecological environment.

Through this releasing of fish seedlings to recreate seafood resources, this action also aims to raise awareness of people of all classes to raise awareness and their responsibility in the protection, conservation and development of aquatic resources for the present and future generations, preventing exploitation and fishing operations that use destructive methods, join hands in order to protect the ecological environment, protect biodiversity, contribute to the sustainable development of fisheries in the province.
