Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province, stated that the festival aims to promote the brand of Ngoc Linh ginseng - Vietnam’s “national treasure”, to international friends. At the same time, it seeks to foster exchange and cooperation in the field of medicinal herbs, develop the economy, culture, and green tourism, and encourage investment in Quang Nam province.

With the theme “Ngoc Linh ginseng (Vietnamese ginseng) and international medicinal herbs - Connecting values and affirming Vietnamese brands,” the festival will gather about 500 delegates from central to local levels, including representatives from the government, ministries and central agencies, international organizations, scientists, businesses, and representatives from localities with strengths in ginseng and medicinal herbs both domestically and internationally.

As an international-scale event, the festival will feature a series of special activities such as the opening ceremony, the Ngoc Linh ginseng deity procession, exhibitions of ginseng, medicinal herbs, and OCOP products, artistic performances, international conferences, along with accompanying events like marathons, golf tournaments, ginseng region experience tours, and a songwriting contest about Ngoc Linh ginseng.

Especially, the scientific workshop titled “Ngoc Linh ginseng – From a national product to a global brand,” part of the festival activities, will be an opportunity for managers, experts, businesses, and investors in the medicinal herbal sector to discuss and sign cooperation agreements. This will help realize the goal of building Quang Nam into the country’s medicinal herb industrial center, with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the key product.
