The B2B international e-commerce platform Alibaba.com and the Department of Agricultural Products Processing and Market Development held a seminar on "Vietnamese flavor sublimes in the world”.

According to Mr. Toan, exports of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products in recent years have continuously increased positively, reaching US$ 48.65 billion in 2021 and expected to reach US$ 50 billion this year. In which the primary agricultural products account for nearly 50% of the total export turnover (Rice, vegetables, tea, coffee, pepper, cashew, cinnamon, anise...).

Exports of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products play an essential role in Vietnam's trade balance. Up to now, Vietnam has risen to become a country with a broad market in over 180 countries and territories worldwide, becoming the 15th country in the world and 2nd in Southeast Asia in terms of forestry and fishery products export turnover.
