The Malaysian pepper market also recorded stability, with black pepper ASTA priced at $ 9,850/ton and white pepper ASTA at $ 12,300/ton. In Brazil, the purchase price of black pepper ASTA 570 is currently at $6,950/ton. Although global pepper prices have not seen major changes, experts warn that if supply from key producing countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Brazil does not improve, the global market could face prolonged shortages.
