Pepper prices today, April 2, 2025, on the global market remain stable. According to information from the International Pepper Community (IPC), here are the prices for black and white pepper in some major producing countries:
Global pepper prices are currently under pressure from several factors, including a decrease in production in major producing countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, and Brazil. This is mainly due to prolonged adverse weather conditions that have affected the development of pepper plants. The demand for pepper is rapidly increasing in major markets such as the US and Europe, especially in the food and spice industries, further putting pressure on global supply.
As of April 2, 2025, domestic pepper prices have continued to decrease slightly, with a reduction of VND 1,000/kg compared to the previous trading session.
In Dak Lak, the price of pepper is VND 158,000/kg, a decrease of VND 1,000.
In Dak Nong, the price of pepper is VND 158,000/kg, also down by VND 1,000.
In Gia Lai, the price of pepper is VND 157,000/kg, decreasing by VND 1,000.
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the price of pepper is VND 157,000/kg, dropping by VND 1,000.
In Binh Phuoc, the price of pepper is VND 157,000/kg, a reduction of VND 1,000.
In Dong Nai, the price of pepper is VND 157,000/kg, down by VND 1,000.
