Globally, the pepper market on June 17 has not experienced any new fluctuations.
The price of Lampung pepper from Indonesia remains at $ 6,452/ton. The price of Muntok white pepper is stable at $ 8,422/ton.
The price of Kuching ASTA black pepper from Malaysia is steady at $ 4,900/ton, while ASTA white pepper from Malaysia continues to be priced at $ 7,300/ton.
In Brazil, the price of ASTA 570 black pepper is currently at $ 7,900/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price for black pepper of the 500 g/l grade is trading at $ 7,800/ton, while the 550 g/l grade is holding at $ 8,000/ton. The export price for white pepper remains at $ 12,000/ton.
Today, global pepper prices continue to remain stable. Over the past week, the global pepper market has reacted positively, with no country reporting a decline in prices.

Domestic pepper prices today remain stable, with the highest price at VND 158,000/kg. Summarizing the past week, the domestic pepper market has decreased by up to VND 10,000.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in May, the average export price of pepper reached $ 4,308/ton, an increase of 39.3% compared to the same period last year. Pepper, along with coffee, are the commodities with the highest export price increases.
Vietnam's pepper industry accounts for 40% of the world's production and 60% of the market share. According to VPSA, the global pepper market size is valued at approximately $ 5.4 billion and is forecasted to achieve an average growth rate of around 20% during the period 2024-2032.
Vietnam is the second-largest coffee exporter in the world.
