In the context that coffee production is the spearhead industry of Di Linh district's agriculture today, the Coffee Growers Gratitude Festival is a program of practical significance. This is a major activity within the framework of the project "Access to Landscape in coffee production towards sustainability and reducing carbon emissions" implemented in 4 communes: Hoa Ninh, Hoa Bac, Hoa Nam, Hoa Trung. The festival also creates cohesion as well as spreads the value of the project to coffee farmers in the four target communes and more than 7,000 farmer households in the surrounding areas.
Besides, the festival also helps coffee farmers to understand more deeply about all stages from production, and promotion to the marketing of the consumption of high-quality coffee products to improve productivity, quality, and value for the coffee industry as well as help people improve their quality of life, thereby bringing high-quality Vietnamese coffee products to the world market.

Mr. Tran Nhat Thi, Vice Chairman of Di Linh District People's Committee, said that Di Linh is the largest coffee producer in Lam Dong province with an area of more than 45,000 ha, annual output reaches over 150 thousand tons, each year contributing VND 9 trillion to the local economy.
"The organization of the Coffee Growers Gratitude Day right before the coffee harvest season in 2023 is a meaningful activity not only for coffee producers in the four target communes but also for coffee growers in general in the whole district of Di Linh", Mr. Thi shared.

Mr. Tran Nhat Thi added that through the festival, coffee growers will gain more information and develop plans to organize appropriate production. The European Union Deforestation Regulation on coffee production (EUDR) will officially take effect in 2024. Di Linh coffee products can ensure standards and facilitate entry into significant markets worldwide, contributing to improving the Di Linh coffee brand and quality of life for coffee growers in the district.
Also on this occasion, Di Linh District People's Committee coordinated with businesses to honor good coffee farmers; award scholarships to students with difficult circumstances; give gifts to the poor, lonely, and disabled; provide scholarship and agricultural promotions, and give gifts to coffee farmers in the area.
