World coffee price on August 6

Coffee prices on August 6 in the world went sideways at both In Dak Nong province, traders Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap bought together at 67,000 VND/kg.major exchanges.

At the time of the survey, the price of Robusta on the London exchange for delivery in September 2023 was kept at $ 2,612/ton. And the November delivery term on this exchange is $ 2,488/ton.

The price of Arabica on the New York exchange for September delivery in September 2023 was anchored at 161.35 cents/lb. And December 2023 delivery is at 160.95 cents/lb.

World coffee prices today have no new fluctuations. Summarizing this week, Robusta coffee for September delivery increased by $ 24 and the price for November delivery decreased by $ 51.

Meanwhile, Arabica coffee on the London exchange for spot delivery in September increased by 3.45 cents and for December delivery increased by 2.75 cents. 

In the last 2 sessions of the week, the world market dropped simultaneously. Brazil cut interest rates on the Real, in the context of a resurging USD, causing funds and speculators to accelerate liquidation due to heightened risk aversion. 

Gold prices and crude oil prices increased continuously, so this agricultural product had to be sacrificed, despite the market still being supported by inventory data on both futures exchanges that continued to stand at low levels.

Thus, the world coffee price on 08/6/2023 remained stable with yesterday.

Domestic coffee price on August 6

Coffee price on August 6 in the country has no new changes compared to yesterday.

Specifically, in 3 districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc and Lam Ha of Lam Dong province are trading at the same level of VND 66,100/kg

In Cu M'gar district (Dak Lak), the price of coffee today is kept at VND 66,800/kg. In Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is at VND 66,700/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap buy together at VND 67,000/kg.

In Gia Lai, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 66,400/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding at VND 66,300/kg.

The purchase price at Kon Tum today is VND 66,400/kg.

The domestic coffee price today is still maintaining stable around the threshold of VND 67,000/kg. This week, the prices in the domestic market also increased with the upward momentum on the London exchange when it increased VND 500-700/kg compared to last week. 

Thus, the price of coffee on 08/6/2023 in the country traded around the threshold of VND 66,100-67,000/kg.
