The 2nd Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Conference, organized by the Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee, took place in Osaka. The event attracted the participation of representatives from Vietnamese diplomatic missions, Japanese tourism authorities, and nearly 80 Japanese travel and media enterprises.

At the conference, Ninh Binh introduced the outstanding universal values of the Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, along with other renowned scenic spots and historical relics. In addition, unique cultural, eco, heritage, and community-based tours were promoted to expand the Japanese tourist market. The conference also served as a bridge for Vietnamese and Ninh Binh travel companies to directly connect with Japanese partners, discuss policies and investment incentives, and work toward concrete cooperation programs in the future.

Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka, highly appreciated the efforts of Ninh Binh Province, emphasizing that the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Osaka is committed to accompanying and supporting the realization of today’s cooperation ideas, thereby contributing to the further development of tourism, trade, and investment between the two countries.

Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed that the working trip is a strategic step aligned with the province’s vision for sustainable tourism development. He noted that Japan is identified as a key, highly potential, and strategically important market. Japan is not only one of the countries with a large tourist source, strong spending power, and diverse experiential needs, but also shares cultural and historical similarities and long-standing ties with Vietnam. Ninh Binh’s signature tourism products, such as heritage tours, spiritual tourism, leisure, golf, community-based tourism, and nature experiences, align well with the preferences and trends of Japanese visitors.

With its rich natural resources, historical sites, and prestigious international awards (such as being ranked among the world’s Top 10 friendliest destinations and Cuc Phuong National Park recognized as Asia’s leading national park for six consecutive years), Ninh Binh’s tourism is experiencing strong growth.

This promotion effort not only opens up new opportunities for cooperation but also represents a strategic step for Ninh Binh to affirm its position as one of Viet Nam’s leading heritage, eco, and cultural destinations, attracting visitors and investors from Japan and around the world.
