To perform the agricultural promotion training task in 2021 in the context that the Covid-19 pandemic is more complicated and many localities are following social distance, the NCAP organized An online training course for officials about the skills of presentations and debates using modern software.

Thereby, the results will be applied to more training courses, transferring agricultural promotion techniques in each locality to adapt to the conditions of Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.

The training course takes place on two days of August 17-18, with the participation of agricultural promotion officials from provinces and cities across the country. The opening ceremony was held online on the morning of August 17, on the Zoom platform with more than 300 bridge points attending at the same time.

In Hanoi, Mr. Le Quoc Thanh, Director of the VAEC, attended and spoke at the opening ceremony along with the Center's Deputy Directors and some heads of specialized offices.

Mr. Le Quoc Thanh said: “With the large participation of provincial agricultural promotion forces, it can be seen that this training course is proof of the realization in implementing the dual goals of the agricultural promotion system. We both fight the Covid-19 at the same time to ensure our training tasks."

According to the VAEC Director, the training course also showed nationwide agricultural promotion officials’ determination in mastering the technology and adapt to the current situation.

"In the current conditions, agricultural promotion activities are affected a lot because the traditional method is to organize direct training and gather a large number of people. Therefore, the agricultural promotion force must find other solutions to apply technological advances to replace them," added Director Le Quoc Thanh.

Specifically, the trainees participating in this course will be equipped and improve their skills in using Zoom software, making presentations, and group discussions so that they can apply for other online training classes and local technology transfer.
