Following the industries of livestock feeding, food processing, and veterinary medicine, this is the 4th ERP project and also the project to complete the digitization program of Mavin's core business areas with ERP SAP S/4HANA. The project kicked off on June 15 and is expected to be completed in early 2022.
Dao Manh Luong - CEO of Mavin Group said that Mavin can gain fruitful results from the previous successful ERP projects of Feed, Foods, Vet. Thanks to the strength of ERP, Mavin can react quickly and timely to the changes in the market.
ERP not only brings information linkage but also the connection between people and people, between processes. That is the reason why Mavin decided to continue applying ERP to Pigfarm - the core industry of Mavin Group.
He also affirmed that Mavin is the leading company in Vietnam and among a few companies in the world adopting the world’s leading enterprise management system SAP S/4HANA for the pig industry. Previously, Mavin also pioneered in applying the PORCITEC - the most modern pig farm production management software.
Pankaj Rathi, General Director of Deloitte Consulting Vietnam, a digital transformation partner of Mavin Group, said that with the trend of digital transformation, especially in the agricultural sector, adding to the situation of Covid-19 pandemic, businesses have to switch to remote work, so they need a system that is powerful enough to work, record transactions and retrieve reports anytime at anywhere to ensure the smooth and continuous operation of the production business.
That is the strength of ERP SAP S/4HANA that Deloitte continues to accompany and deploy at Mavin. Accordingly, not only meeting the reporting requirements but also with ERP, Mavin Pigfarm will feature a digitized system and build better processes in the future.
