Price of live pork in the North on May 20

Live pork prices on May 20 in the Northern market increased slightly in some places compared to yesterday.

In which, after a sharp increase of VND 3,000/kg, Hung Yen has raised the purchase price to VND 59,000/kg - the highest level in the region today. 

Along with the above momentum, the two provinces of Bac Giang and Thai Binh together raised the transaction price to VND 58,000/kg.

Except for Thai Nguyen province, where the price remained at VND 56,000/kg, other localities simultaneously increase the price by VND 1,000 - 2,000/kg, to about VND 55,000 - 56,000/kg.

Thus, today's live pork price on 05/20/2023 in the Northern market is trading at VND 55,000 - 59,000/kg.

Live pork price in Central and Central Highlands on May 20

Live pork prices on May 20 in the Central and Central Highlands markets increased slightly in some places compared to yesterday.

Specifically, Quang Nam after increasing the price by VND 1,000/kg, raised the purchase price to VND 55,000/kg. On par with Ha Tinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan.

Also after a slight increase in price, Quang Binh brought the transaction to VND 56,000/kg.

Similarly, Binh Thuan has increased the price to VND 57,000/kg after increasing by VND 1,000/kg. This is also the price anchored in Lam Dong and the highest level in the area today. The remaining provinces have no new changes. In which, the price in Quang Tri remained at the lowest level in the region - VND 53,000/kg.

Thus, today's live pork price on 05/20/2023 in the Central and Central Highlands is buying around VND 54,000 - 57,000/kg.

Price of live pork in the South on May 20

Live pork price on May 20 in the southern market increased by VND 1,000/kg compared to yesterday.

Accordingly, VND 56,000/kg is the price purchased in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, and Soc Trang after the same increase of VND 1,000/kg.

Similar to the above momentum, the price in Dong Nai and Vung Tau were raised by traders to VND 57,000/kg.

Also slightly increased by 1 price, Ben Tre raised the purchasing price to 58,000 VND/kg - the highest level in the region today.

Thus, today's live pork price on 05/20/2023 throughout the South continues to trade around the threshold of VND 54,000 - 58,000/kg.
