The Vietnam-China Business Trade Conference was held by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Agritrade) on November 20, along with related units. The Vietnamese agricultural products showcase was also launched on Chinese e-commerce platforms and social media. This initiative employs live streaming and brief video broadcasts to adhere to the "products-seeking buyers" model.
From November 20 to 23, the Economic and Trade Fair Exhibition Center (Hanoi) hosts the 24th International Agricultural Exhibition - AgroViet 2024. This event is one of the main activities within the framework of the event.

The conference's goal was to enforce the spirit and content of the cooperation agreement between the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center and the Sunwah Group (Hong Kong - China). It also sought to assist Vietnamese businesses in the agricultural, forestry, fisheries, and culinary sectors in their pursuit of new products, designs, and advanced technology equipment from China.
Mr. Le Trung Dung, an official from the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), stated at the event that cross-border e-commerce is providing Vietnamese businesses with new opportunities to expand their scope and access global markets. As a result of government support, free trade agreements, and the continuous development of technology, this is an opportune moment for businesses to enter this competitive landscape rapidly.
However, according to Mr. Dung, accessing and leveraging e-commerce in Vietnam still faces many challenges, such as legal regulations, limited logistics infrastructure, competition from major brands, and data security issues. These remain significant barriers preventing Vietnamese businesses from expanding into international markets.
During the conference, Sunwah Company disclosed its intention to provide businesses with training and consulting services. These services will cover a variety of topics, such as KOL (Key Opinion Leader) training, product packaging consulting, product market trend analysis, warehouse management consulting, and guidance on the use of warehouse management systems. The consulting and training services will be available in both free and paid formats.
