The 17th International Processing and Packaging Exhibition and Conference for Vietnam (ProPak Vietnam 2024) officially takes place from April 3-5 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

ProPak Vietnam 2024 attracts more than 310 exhibitors of the world's leading materials and technologies serving the food and beverage processing and packaging industries, cold supply chain, logistics, storage... from 30 countries and territories such as England, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Denmark, Korea, Germany, United States, Hong Kong, Japan, France, Australia, Italy, Vietnam...

Mrs. Tran Mong Tuyen, Senior Project Manager of Informa Markets Vietnam, said that this is an international trade event dedicated to the rapidly growing processing and packaging industry in Vietnam in particular and Southeast Asia in general.

"This is a place for packaging industry businesses to find breakthrough machinery, equipment, and technology to innovate production lines, optimize processing and packaging processes, expand production, and at the same time meet the needs of sustainable development," Mrs. Mong Tuyen said.

According to Ms. Chu Thi Van Anh, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Beer, Wine and Beverage, Vietnamese packaging has played an essential role in protecting, transporting, and distributing goods effectively.

Despite being affected by global economic fluctuations, the packaging industry is still growing strongly, promising a future of long-term sustainable development.

"Vietnam's packaging industry is undergoing a strong transformation in both quality and quantity towards green and sustainable development. This is an important step that not only contributes to environmental protection but also brings great benefits to businesses and the community," Mrs. Van Anh commented.

Currently, businesses in the packaging field have grasped new trends and adjusted appropriate strategies to meet market needs.

"In that context, ProPak Vietnam 2024 provides an urgent opportunity to approach new trends and find creative and advanced solutions in production. This is a great trade opportunity to strengthen cooperative relationships, explore a new direction for growth and strengthen Vietnam's position as a country with a special mark and impressive achievements in green and sustainable packaging solutions", Mrs. Van Anh commented.

In particular, within the framework of the exhibition, there is also a DrinkTech Technology showcase attracting key businesses operating in the food and beverage sector in Vietnam to participate. Thereby to meet the strong growth needs of beverage businesses in recent years. This is also a place to help businesses in the field of beverage technology meet, connect for business, and absorb the latest knowledge.

Vietnam’s beverage industry recorded positive achievements after the whole country overcame the COVID-19 pandemic. From research conducted by VIRAC, the demand for beverages increases due to the opening doors, Vietnam is a prominent tourist destination in the eyes of international friends. In addition, competitive prices help expand export routes for “made-in-Vietnam” beverage products to densely populated markets such as the United States and China
