This event marks the first time Vietnam has officially exported bird's nest products to the Chinese market after many years of continuous negotiation efforts.

It is known that this batch of water bird's nest products is the first export batch in 2024 of AVANEST Vietnam with a quantity of about 32,000 jars of bird's nests and more than 500kg of dry bird's nests with a total value equivalent to about VND 26 billion.

Previously, AVANEST also successfully exported a number of refined bird's nest shipments to China. These refined bird's nest shipments have been closely inspected by China's General Administration of Customs and confirmed to meet China's quality standards.

Up to now, the General Administration of Customs of China has licensed 8 Vietnamese enterprises to export bird's nest products to China. China's official permission to import bird's nest products from Vietnam will create great opportunities for the bird's nest farming industry and the production and processing of bird's nests in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of the Vietnam Livestock Association, said that Vietnam has classified bird's nest as one of the special livestock products. Over the past 10 years, Vietnam has implemented many policies to promote the development of the bird's nest industry, the highlight being negotiations between Vietnam and China. Up to now, only raw bird's nest products are allowed to be exported.

The export of finished bird's nest products is evidence of the development of domestic bird's nest production enterprises, at the same time, it is a testament to the development of Vietnam's livestock and agricultural industry when it can access and penetrate a market worth up to billions of dollars.

In 2024, it is expected that ANAVEST Vietnam Company will export 50 tons of raw bird's nests along with 30 million jars of deeply processed instant bird's nests to the Chinese market. Additionally, the company also plans to increase product consumption in the domestic market.

Previously, AVANEST also successfully exported a number of refined bird's nest shipments to China. These refined bird's nest shipments have been closely inspected by China's General Administration of Customs and confirmed to meet China's quality standards. Chinese customers also welcome and highly appreciate AVANEST's refined bird's nest products.

In the coming time, in addition to continuing to implement contracts to export refined bird's nest products, AVANEST will promote the production and export of water bird's nest products to the Chinese market to bring greater added value to businesses.
