Mr. Ngo Xuan Nam, Deputy Director of the SPS Vietnam Office spoke at the signing ceremony.
Exports of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries to China have expanded steadily during the past few years. According to MARD, in the first nine months of 2022, total exports of these goods reached USD 7.4 billion, solidifying China's position as the second-largest agricultural export market in the world.
China views Vietnam as the gateway to Southeast Asia and the starting point for its expansion into the ASEAN market. Vietnam views China as a significant market and has routinely arranged training sessions for domestic businesses to satisfy China's criteria.
The two parties have established a compromise on policy and coordination, but there have been information-sharing bottlenecks between businesses in the two nations. National Center for Technological Progress, Shenzhen Industry Promotion Center, and Dong Dang Industrial Investment L.L.C. inked a strategic cooperation agreement.
Specifically, in Vietnam, participants attend the Inauguration Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to inaugurate the Dong Dang Industrial Investment Ltd. Co. Operation Center in Vietnam. Representatives of the Trade Bureau of Quanzhou City, Guangxi, and the corporation were present at the inauguration ceremony of the "Vietnam-China trade store" in China.
Two offices in Hanoi and Guangxi will serve as the markets' central information hub. By contacting, consulting, and receiving assistance from these units, businesses from the two nations can obtain pertinent data.
Mr. Pham Dinh Nam, director of the National Center for Technological Progress, believes that the establishment of a direct support office in the two countries will create a "green lane" for enterprises of the two nations to seek vital information quickly and gain a deeper understanding of their partners' needs.
Our agriculture confronts some informational obstacles. With these trade promotion initiatives, we can help bring the two nations' strongest goods closer to the public, as Mr. Nam explained.
The signing ceremony took place online from the bridge between Hanoi and Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Nam, Deputy Director of SPS Vietnam, and a representative of MARD praised the efforts of both nations' businesses to develop an information support channel. In addition, he committed to assisting Vietnamese and Chinese businesses with information transparency and the consolidation of their friendship and collaboration.
The leader of the SPS Vietnam Office stated, "Through these practical activities, it is anticipated that the two sides would raise the volume and value of their collaboration in order to improve the standard of living of the populace."
Mr. Pham Dinh Nam, represented the National Center for Technological Progress to attend the signing ceremony.
Mr. To Van Quang, Director of Trung Viet Trading Consulting and Services Co., Ltd., opined that Vietnam's geographical position and strong economic growth rate (continuously maintained at 6-7% per year) are advantages. There are numerous economic prospects and potential for investment and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Introducing Shenzhen's potential, both in terms of the number of firms and government agencies, as well as the flexibility of its regimes and policies, he stated that collaboration is about making use of the RCEP Agreement's efficacy, therefore enhancing its standing. The Kham Chau entrance is a continuing supply of social and commercial resources. This will foster more consultation and commercial collaboration between the two nations.
Mr. Zhang Lifan, a representative of the Shenzhen Industry Promotion Center from China, sees Shenzhen shopping as the "heart" of the Greater Bay Area, which includes Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
According to Mr. Truong, businesses in Shenzhen enable Vietnam to fully market its products, collaborate on projects, attract investment, and engage in technical cooperation, thereby laying the groundwork for the work of attracting model projects and promoting the robust growth of Vietnam's industries.
The trade volume between Vietnam and China is growing at a record rate of 24.6%, according to Vietnamese figures, and over 20%, according to Chinese statistics. And according to the Chinese customs unit, commerce between the two nations surpassed the USD 200 billion milestone for the first time.
These figures represent the stability and efficacy of bilateral commercial exchanges between the two nations during the past few years, despite the challenges and constraints induced by objective conditions.
