On June 26, the Environmental Journalism Club under the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (HANE), in collaboration with Fujiwa Viet Nam Co., Ltd., organized a program to visit the company’s factory in Cu Chi Cmmune, Ho Chi Minh City, under the theme "The Press Accompanies Businesses – Green Transformation for Sustainable Development."

The event attracted more than 50 journalists, reporters, and editors who are members of the Environmental Journalism Club, as well as representatives of the HANE Executive Committee, businesses, experts, and guests interested in environmental issues and sustainable development.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Dang Van Khoa, Chairman of HANE, emphasized that the program was organized to mark the Month of Action for the Environment 2026 and the 101st anniversary of Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day. The event provided an opportunity for journalists to directly experience green production models, assess energy-saving solutions and efficient resource utilization practices, and spread the message of sustainable development.

Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Thuy, General Director of Fujiwa Viet Nam, said that Fujiwa had been honored by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee with the Green Enterprise title for three consecutive years (2023–2025), recognizing the company's efforts in applying environmentally friendly technologies, fostering innovation, and fulfilling its social responsibilities.

During the visit, journalists, reporters, and experts had the opportunity to observe the modern production lines firsthand and learn about energy-saving solutions, environmental protection initiatives, and sustainable development measures. The experience enabled the media to objectively assess the company’s efforts to promote the circular economy, green consumption, and fulfill social responsibilities.
One of the program’s highlights was the tree-planting activity held at the Fujiwa Viet Nam factory. Each tree not only contributes to improving the landscape but also symbolizes the enterprise's environmental commitment and sense of responsibility. On this occasion, Fujiwa also presented a symbolic tree donation board to the program "One Million Trees for the Nation’s Seas and Islands, for a Green Viet Nam Homeland," demonstrating the company’s support for environmental protection activities.

At the same time, the Environmental Journalism Club officially introduced its third-term Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 tenure, marking the Club's new development stage in connecting journalists interested in environmental issues, sustainable development, and social responsibility. On this occasion, individuals with outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the activities of the Association and the Club were also commended and honored.
