According to the official dispatch, on June 16, the former Quang Nam Department of Agriculture and Environment - now the Da Nang City Department of Agriculture and Environment - issued Dispatch No. 2287, inviting participation in the festival initially scheduled for August 1–3, 2025.
However, on July 14, the Office of the Da Nang City People’s Committee released a notice summarizing the conclusions of a July 7 briefing session, in which it was agreed to postpone the festival to 2026.
Mr. Tran Ut, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Department of Agriculture and Environment, stated that the 2025 Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Herbal Medicine International Festival would be temporarily suspended due to the recent administrative merger of Da Nang and Quang Nam. As a result, preparations have not been completed in time, and financial and organizational plans are still awaiting approval. Therefore, the department will announce the official time and location of the festival once a final decision has been made.
