Leaders of Dong Nai province and leaders of C.P. Vietnam participated in the launching ceremony of the "Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho" and the program of planting 1 billion trees "For a green Vietnam".
On the occasion of the 133rd birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890- 19/5/2023), in two days from May 18 to 19, 2023, the representative of the Board of Directors of C.P. Livestock Joint Stock Company. Vietnam (CPV) participated in the launching ceremonies of the "Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho" and the Prime Minister's program to plant 1 billion trees "For a green Vietnam" in two provinces of Dong Thap and Dong Nai.
Responding to the Prime Minister's call to plant 1 billion trees, CPV has implemented the project "CPV - A Journey for Green Vietnam" period 2021-2025 with the goal of planting 1.5 million trees in Vietnam, which can cost more than USD 1 million.

The project of C.P. Vietnam started by planting 500 thousand trees at the company's factories and farms. Then spread the project of planting 1 million trees to the community in many provinces and cities in Vietnam.
In 2023, the company will continue to expand the tree planting project in Dong Nai province with the goal of planting and taking care of 10 hectares of mangroves.
CPV awarded the logo to contribute to the planting and care of 10 hectares of mangroves in Dong Nai.
In Dong Thap province, C.P. Vietnam will plant and take care of 115,799 mangrove crabapple trees in 107 riverbanks, canals and canals that are at risk of landslides in 30 communes in Cao Lanh, Lap Vo, Lai Vung, Chau Thanh and Sa Dec districts.

The project of planting 1.5 million trees of C.P. Vietnam has contributed to increasing forest area, preventing erosion, stabilizing mudflats, riverside and canal infrastructure, helping to better protect production and local people's lives, as well as preserving the ecological environment and limiting the negative effects of climate change in provinces, cities and across the country.

Through this project, C.P. Vietnam also wants to spread afforestation activities to more than 30,000 employees in order to raise their awareness about environmental protection and planting trees, which is also a way to protect their own health and life.
With the significance of afforestation and environmental protection activities, the company wishes to continue to expand to many provinces and cities to jointly increase the green color as well as restore and sustainably develop Vietnam's forest area.
