On the London exchange, Robusta futures for May 2025 surged by $156 (equivalent to 2.93%), reaching $ 5,486/ton. Meanwhile, the July 2025 contract rose significantly by $ 154 (equivalent to 2.91%), standing at $ 5,444/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica futures for May 2025 jumped by 13.6 cents (equivalent to 3.65%), hitting 386.65 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract increased by 13.45 cents (equivalent to 3.69%), reaching 378.2 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices surged today, with the New York exchange rising nearly 4%. According to Reuters, Brazilian coffee farmers, affected by one of the worst droughts in history, sold nearly their entire production months before the new harvest began. This was due to coffee prices nearly doubling, reaching an all-time high over the past 14 months.
Thus, global coffee prices on March 4, 2025, have surged nearly 4% compared to yesterday.
Domestically, the coffee market also saw a strong increase compared to yesterday.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 131,000/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 133,000/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 132,900/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are buying at VND 133,000/kg and VND 132,900/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 132,800/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are both at VND 132,700/kg.
Meanwhile, coffee prices in Kon Tum today are at VND 132,700/kg.
Thus, the domestic coffee price on March 4, 2025, is trading around VND 131,000 - 133,000/kg.
