(VAN) Coffee prices on March 15, 2025, fell by more than 2% globally. Domestic coffee prices dropped by VND 1,500, trading around VND 130,000 - 132,000/kg.

Globally, both the London and New York exchanges saw sharp declines on March 15.

On the London exchange, Robusta futures for May 2025 plunged by $131 (equivalent to 2.37%), settling at $ 5,397/ton. Meanwhile, the July 2025 contract dropped by $ 129 (equivalent to 2.34%), reaching $ 5,377/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica futures for May 2025 tumbled by 8.5 cents (equivalent to 2.2%), falling to 377.20 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract also saw a significant decrease of 7.8 cents (equivalent to 2.06%), standing at 370.85 cents/lb.

Arabica has now experienced three consecutive sessions of steep declines, reaching its lowest level in two weeks due to forecasts of widespread rainfall next week in Minas Gerais - Brazil's largest Arabica-producing region, easing concerns over drought conditions.

Thus, global coffee prices on March 15, 2025, have fallen significantly compared to yesterday.

In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 132,000/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are also trading at VND 132,000/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are both transacting at VND 132,000/kg.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 131,800/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a price of VND 131,700/kg.

Meanwhile, in Kon Tum, today's purchasing price stands at VND 131,800/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on March 15, 2025, are trading around VND 130,000 - 132,000/kg.
