According to experts, this year’s coffee production in Brazil, the world's largest coffee exporter, may not be as bad as initially feared. Abundant rainfall following last year’s most severe drought in history has significantly improved crop conditions.

However, experts believe Brazil’s 2025 crop may still be lower than in 2024 and remains far from the nearly 70 million bags recorded in 2020. Nevertheless, the situation is not as dire as some analysts feared when extreme drought late last year threatened fruit development.

Current estimates from traders and analysts suggest production might slightly decline compared to last year, but forecasts could be revised.

Thus, global coffee prices on February 3, 2025, remain unchanged from yesterday.
