On the global market, both the London and New York exchanges remained stable on December 9.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for January 2025 delivery held steady at $ 5,153/ton, while the March 2025 contract also remained unchanged at $ 5,116/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for March 2025 delivery stayed at 330.25 cents/lb, and the May 2025 contract remained fixed at 327.60 cents/lb.
Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on December 9, 2024
Global coffee prices showed no new changes today. Last week, the market experienced mixed trends, with Robusta for January 2025 delivery dropping by $ 256/ton, while Arabica for March 2025 delivery surged by 12 cents/lb.
Thus, global coffee prices on December 9, 2024, remained unchanged compared to yesterday.
Domestically, the coffee market today also showed no new fluctuations compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha all trade at VND 123,000/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is currently purchasing coffee at VND 124,000/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 123,900/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are trading at VND 124,000/kg and VND 123,900/kg, respectively.

Weekly summary: This week, the domestic coffee market experienced a significant drop, with prices in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum decreasing by VND 6,000/kg, while Lam Dong and Dak Nong saw a sharper decline of VND 6,500/kg.
Data from the Dak Lak Provincial Statistics Office shows that the cultivated area for the 2023/24 season reached 212,106 ha, down 809 ha compared to the previous season. Of this, the productive area covered 200,441 ha, a decrease of 400 ha from the prior season, with an average yield of 26.72 quintals/ha. The total coffee output for the province was 535,672 tons, down 23,057 tons compared to the previous season.
