Coffee price on May 22 in the world market was stable at both major exchanges.

The price of Arabica coffee on the New York Stock Exchange in July 2023 was 192 cents/lb. For September 2023 delivery, the price of coffee on this exchange is 189.3 cents/lb.

World coffee prices today show no new fluctuations. Last week, the global coffee market simultaneously increased sharply. 

In which, the price of coffee on the London Exchange had 4 increasing sessions and 1 decreasing session. In summary, the price of Robusta coffee for immediate delivery in July increased by $156, or 6.41 %.

Meanwhile, the price of coffee on the New York Stock Exchange had 3 increasing sessions and 2 decreasing sessions. In summary, the price of Arabica coffee for July delivery increased by 9.15 cents or a 5% increase.

The reason for the spike was due to the market fear of short-term supply shortage, in which the price of Robusta coffee on the London exchange set a new 12-year record.

Besides, during the week, USDX increased by 1.5% in value, causing most commodity prices, in general, to rebound strongly.

Thus, the price of coffee on 05/22/2023 in the world market is sideways compared to yesterday.

Domestic coffee price on May 22

Coffee price on May 22 in the domestic market increased slightly by VND 300/kg compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the price of Lam Dong coffee (in 3 districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha) is being purchased today at VND 59,500/kg.

In Cu M'gar district (Dak Lak), the price of coffee today is kept at VND 60,000/kg. In Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is at VND 59,900/kg.

Coffee prices in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap of Dak Nong province today were purchased at VND 60,000 and VND 59,900/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai, the price of coffee in Chu Prong today is at VND 59,900/kg; while at Pleiku and La Grai are holding at VND 59,800/kg.

The price of coffee today in Kon Tum is being purchased at VND 59,900/kg.

The domestic price of coffee today has increased for the third consecutive session and has reached VND 60,000/kg.

Last week, the domestic coffee market price also increased when it increased from VND 4,300 to VND 4,400/kg compared to the previous week.

Thus, the price of coffee on 05/22/2023 in the domestic market traded around the threshold of VND 59,500 - 60,000/kg.
