Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on 03/09/2024

World coffee prices today turned down sharply after 2 consecutive days of impressive increases. Two days earlier, high demand and concerns about supply shortages triggered automatic buying orders by funds and speculation, pushing Robusta prices on the London exchange to a 16-year high.

Currently, from a 16-year peak, the London exchange price has dropped by nearly $ 100/ton. Funds and speculation are forced to rebalance their business positions on this exchange.

Robusta prices are forecast to continue to increase as concerns about supply delays from Asia remain and inventories on the exchange have hovered at low levels since 2014.

Thus, world coffee prices on 03/09/2024 decreased sharply compared to yesterday.
