The event brought together nearly 1,000 farmers, cooperatives, scientists, community agricultural extension officers, domestic and international partners, and distributors across the Mekong Delta.
The atmosphere at Mini Expo 2025 was lively and innovation-driven, with technology demonstration areas designed like a “miniature farm.” Farmers could not only observe live demonstrations but also directly practice and discuss advanced cultivation processes with technical experts, ranging from soil and water management to the use of biofertilizers and biological plant protection products. This was a rare opportunity for farmers to gain hands-on experience with smart, practical solutions for real-world production.

This year’s Mini Expo was not only an event to introduce Loc Troi’s ecosystem, new products, and advanced cultivation processes but also a strong commitment by the group to pioneering the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, and innovation in agriculture. It affirmed Loc Troi’s capacity in research, application, and sustainable value chain production, contributing to food security, emission reduction, environmental protection, and the elevation of Vietnamese rice on the global market.
Particularly during the exhibition, Loc Troi introduced its SmartRice management platform, a system that applies Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to monitor and forecast pests, guide fertilization, and irrigation based on each crop’s growth stage. This application is expected to help farmers reduce input materials by 20–30%, while increasing productivity and quality, thereby contributing to more precise and environmentally friendly agriculture.
With the message “From technology to practice – Comprehensive cultivation solutions for rice,” Mini Expo 2025 showcased Loc Troi’s sustainable agricultural ecosystem through seven thematic demonstration farms that illustrated the entire value chain: from research and breeding to fertilizer and nutrition products, biological and organic cultivation solutions, and high-quality commercial rice products.

The event also attracted numerous domestic and international technology enterprises, offering opportunities for cooperation in agricultural digitization and technology transfer. Exhibits such as eco-friendly biological products, automatic spraying drones, soil-water sensors, and crop-monitoring cameras reflected Vietnam’s strong digital transformation trend in agriculture.
After more than 32 years of supporting farmers, Loc Troi has developed an integrated agricultural ecosystem, providing not only inputs but also comprehensive cultivation solutions. Instead of merely selling products, Loc Troi develops long-term livelihood models that improve productivity, restore soil health, reduce production costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and ensure sustainable profitability for farmers.
Regarding sustainable rice cultivation and emission reduction, Loc Troi has collaborated with local agricultural extension networks to develop raw material zones under the project to cultivate one million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice, aligning with the Net Zero 2050 goal. This represents Loc Troi’s pioneering role in ensuring national food security and elevating the reputation of Vietnamese rice in global markets. The group continuously expands international partnerships to integrate science and technology directly into cultivation.

Recently, Loc Troi collaborated with Japan’s New Green Group to pilot the Aigamo Robot, a device that supports cultivation, controls weeds and golden apple snails, and helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the beginning of the season. Additionally, Loc Troi continues to conduct research and cross-breeding to develop high-quality rice varieties. Most recently, its exclusive Japo 3-season rice variety was granted protection in 2024 and approved for distribution in Southeast Vietnam, with recognition in the Mekong Delta expected in 2025.
According to Mr. Huynh Van Thon, Chairman of Loc Troi Group, Mini Expo is not just a product showcase but a demonstration of Loc Troi’s capability to organize and implement a closed-loop, sustainable agricultural value chain.
Through Mini Expo 2025, Loc Troi continues to affirm its pioneering position in high-tech agricultural development and demonstrate its capacity to implement large-scale agricultural projects.
As part of the event, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed for the supply and distribution of new-generation crop protection and care products for low-emission farming models, reaffirming Loc Troi’s commitment to research investment, technology transfer, and leadership in green agriculture.
Mini Expo 2025 is considered the flagship event kicking off Loc Troi’s series of sustainable agriculture promotion programs in 2025. With its expanded scale, the event is not only a product showcase but also a forum connecting scientists, businesses, and farmers. Several panel discussions and thematic workshops were organized within the exhibition area, where experts shared practical experiences on green transformation, circular agriculture, and digital technology applications in supply chain management. These activities help build a close-knit cooperation network, fostering innovation and accelerating technology transfer directly to individual farming households.
