Agroforestry commodities’ price, August 9: Rice ends days of decreasing continuously

Forestry and agricultural commodity prices today, August 9, are unchanged in the world rubber market, move sideways in the world pepper, and decrease in the world coffee market.

Coffee prices

In the world market, coffee prices today, August 9, decrease in two large exchanges compared to yesterday.

After the latest session, the Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for September 2021 contracts decreases by US$ 21 per ton at US$ 1,743 per ton and decreases by US$ 28 per ton at US$ 1,754 per ton for November 2021 contracts.

Likewise, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for September 2021 contracts decreases by Cent 2.55 per pound at Cent 176.0 per pound and decreases by Cent 3.4 per pound at Cent 179.05 per pound for December 2021 contracts.

In the domestic market, coffee prices today, August 9, move sideways in most key provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 35,600-36,500 per kilogram.

Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province are the same at VND 35,600 per kilogram.

In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are up to VND 36,400-36,500 per kilogram.

In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 36,300-36,400 per kilogram.

Pepper prices

In the world market, pepper prices today, August 9, at Kochi exchange (India), move sideways compared to the latest session, keep at INR 41,375 per quintal.

In the domestic market, pepper prices increase by VND 500-1,000 per kilogram in some key provinces, ranging from VND 75,000-77,500.

Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 76,000, a VND 1,000 increase compared to yesterday.

In Dong Nai province, the pepper price is VND 75,000 per kilogram.

After a VND 1,000 increase, the pepper price is VND 75,000 per kilogram in Gia Lai province.

The pepper in Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc provinces is purchased at the highest of VND 77,500 and VND 76,500 per kilogram, after a VND 1,000 increase.

Rubber prices

In the world market, rubber prices have no change in commodity exchanges compared to the latest session.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is down by JPY 0.4 at JPY 209.9 per kilogram, but up by JPY 0.8 at JPY 212.7 per kilogram for September 2021 contracts, and up by JPY 0.9 at JPY 216.9 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts.

In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts keeps at CNY 13,328 per ton, up by CNY 150 at CNY 13,700 per ton for September 2021 contracts, and up by CNY 175 at CNY 13,795 per ton for October 2021 contracts.

In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 300-315 per TSC-DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.

In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

Rice prices

Rice prices today, August 9, in the Mekong Delta provinces are stable compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the fresh sticky rice price is VND 4,300-4,500 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 5451 rice price is VND 4,800-5,100 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 18 rice price is VND 5,700-6,000 VND per kilogram.

The fresh IR 50404 rice price is VND 4,400-4,800 VND per kilogram.

The fresh OM 9582 rice price is VND 4,600-4,700 per kilogram

The fresh OM 6976 rice price is VND 5,100-5,200 per kilogram.

The fresh Japanese rice price is VND 7,500-7,600 per kilogram.

The fresh 8 fragrant rice is VND 5,700-6,000 per kilogram.

After the online meeting on rice production and consumption in the Mekong Delta on August 7, Minister Le Minh Hoan, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, asked businesses to actively support farmers, not wait for prices to drop to buy.
