The iCAN International Invention and Invention Competition are organized by the Toronto International Society of Innovation & Advanced Skills (TISIAS),  and is supported by the International Federation of Invention and Invention Associations (IFIA), the World Invention and Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA).

iCAN is Canada's leading, a world-recognized event for inventors. The competition has shown continuous growth and improvement from its first run in 2016 to 2021, each year breaking the previous year's record for a total number of patents, countries, and partnerships. iCAN 2021 has more than 650 inventions from 70 countries around the world.

At the last iCAN organization from 2016 to 2021, 86 countries from all continents around the world, including North, Central, and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania, participated in the event.

The 7th International Invention Competition in Canada, iCAN 2022 takes place from June 26 to August 28 via online form. The contest includes rounds of intellectual property registration, grading of topics, posters, presentations before international judges, and live question-and-answer in English recorded by video.

The jury will evaluate inventions based on the Project Intellectual Property Register issued by the National Office of Intellectual Property of participating countries. The jury will have detailed reports on research content by video, posters sent to the International Organizing Committee, and content presented directly by the inventors during the online competition.

iCAN is organized to build a unique platform to unite the innovative and creative initiatives of Canadian inventors with the rest of the world. iCAN accomplished this by offering people a golden opportunity to expand their international network, do business, promote inventions, new products, and research, and achieve the success of winning awards.

The 7th iCAN 2022 competition has the participation of 81 countries and territories around the world with many inventors competing from countries such as Europe, the US, Japan, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, China, Korea, Vietnam… The total number of international projects participating is 700 projects.

"Embankment to protect riverbank and coast in Ray estuary area in Phuoc Thuan commune, Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province" in the field of Construction and Engineering. The project is a prefabricated non-metallic fiber-reinforced concrete embankment for coastal protection with a length of 1,000m. It is also a precast non-metallic fiber-reinforced concrete embankment for riverbank protection with a length of 2,232 meters in Ray River estuary, Phuoc Thuan commune, Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The Estuary Ray estuary currently has a severely eroded shoreline, and the morphological changes of the banks are very complicated. According to the assessment and comparison on the cadastral map made during 1997-1998, from the coast edge to the mainland areas in the Ray River estuary area, the level of sea erosion is taking place at a relatively fast rate, on average from 20-40 m/year.
