Accordingly, WWF will provide nearly $ 50,000 to the Management Board of Song Thanh National Park (Quang Nam), equivalent to nearly VND 1.2 billion in non-refundable aid capital to support the recovery and development of key populations of grey-shanked douc.
The implementation location is in the forest area of Song Thanh National Park in Nam Giang district and Phuoc Son district, excluding communes in the land border area. Implementation time is within 12 months (from November 2023 to November 2024).
The People's Committee of Quang Nam province requested the Song Thanh National Park Management Board to coordinate with sponsors and relevant agencies, units and localities to prepare detailed activity plans and implement them to ensure compliance with approved content.
At the same time, strictly comply with the State's regulations on receiving, managing and using non-refundable aid that is not part of the official development support source of foreign agencies, organizations and individuals for Vietnam. Periodically report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Planning and Investment on the implementation of the aid.
The following Departments: Planning and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development are responsible for guiding the Management Board of Song Thanh National Park on how to receive and implement aid and ensure compliance with regulations.
