Vietnam's Rice won the China - ASEAN International Rice Quality

(VAN) RVT Fragrant rice product of Vinaseed Group has excellently won the China - ASEAN International Rice Quality Gold Medal.

On October 28, 2023, the 4th China-ASEAN Seed Industry Development Conference took place at the City International Convention and Exhibition Center in Nanning City, Guangxi, China.

The conference was organized with the goal of promoting the cultivation of high-quality rice varieties and sharing experiences in building rice brands, At the same time, increasing exchange and cooperation in research and rice trade transfer between China and ASEAN countries.

At the conference, for the first time, an activity to evaluate the quality of Indica rice in the China-ASEAN region took place. The contest brought together 61 Indica rice varieties from 5 ASEAN countries and China.

The process of evaluating and voting on rice quality is strictly controlled, ensuring objectivity and honesty of quality after cooking.

The evaluation council consists of 12 famous Chinese rice experts chaired by Researcher Cheng Shihua - China Rice Research Institute.

RVT Fragrant rice product of Vietnam Seed Group - Vinaseed has excellently won the China - ASEAN International Rice Quality Gold Medal when leading the criteria of appearance, rice texture, flavour, and palatability even when cooled. The award is a source of pride and an affirmation to international friends about the quality of Vietnamese rice grains.
