Viettel Group's BSI index reached 89.4/100, rated AAA - the highest level in years and increased by 4.2 points compared to 2023.
Viettel Group currently has a brand value of nearly 9 billion USD, continuing to become the most valuable brand in Vietnam and the most valuable telecommunications brand in Southeast Asia.
Brand Strength Index (BSI) is determined based on survey results, analysis and evaluation of attributes including customer feelings about the brand (awareness, love...) and customer behavior with the brand (using products and services, willing to recommend to others, willing to pay high prices...).
This is the most important factor creating Viettel Group's brand value of approximately 9 billion USD, maintaining its position as the number 1 telecommunications brand in Southeast Asia, ranked 9th in Asia and moved up 1 rank in the world to 16th place.
Explaining the reason for the outstanding increase in Viettel's BSI index, Mr. Alex Haigh, the Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia - Pacific commented: "This comes from the strong commitments of Viettel Group in digital transformation and sustainable development, helping to increase customers' perceived value of innovation, environmental and community indicators in the Vietnamese market."
Brand investment represents all the leverage a business can use to influence brand value. In this aspect, Brand Finance experts assess that Viettel has continuously become the most valuable brand in Vietnam thanks to its successful expansion into the international market.
According to Alex Haigh, Viettel Group has established branches in many countries. This highlights the group's ability to adapt to diverse markets, leverage its expertise and create value on a global scale.
"The success of the unit abroad has also enhanced Vietnam's position in the international arena and paved the way for other businesses to explore and succeed in many potential new markets," said Mr. Alex Haigh.
Currently, Viettel Group maintains its position as the most comprehensive digital ecosystem provider today with 6 foundation areas: digital infrastructure, digital solutions, digital finance, digital content, network security and manufacturing high technology. Viettel's digital solutions and services hold the No. 1 market share in the fields of health, education, and provincial government, and are the core force ensuring network safety and security in Vietnam.
In addition, in 2023, Viettel Group will build a Sustainable Development report with the theme "Technology with heart", focusing on 6 key areas: High quality human resources, Creating a digital society, Information security, Climate change/Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Smart green data centers, Transparent and responsible governance.
