According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep Ha, in charge of the Vietnam Trade Office in Pakistan, following the chain of activities to stimulate demand for Vietnamese export dragon fruit products in the Pakistani market in 2022, The Vietnam Trade Office in Pakistan has just organized an activity to promote Vietnamese dragon fruit products at the International Fair "My Karachi-Oasis of Harmony" 2023.

In order to have materials to organize promotional activities, the Trade Office must order red flesh dragon fruit from Vietnam and white flesh dragon fruit imported from Dubai. A billboard advertising the nutritional value and health protection of Vietnamese dragon fruit is printed in large format and occupies an entire wall of the Vietnam Pavilion at the International Fair “My Karachi-Oasis of Harmony” 2023.

Leaflets introducing Vietnamese dragon fruit products are printed in beautiful colors to be distributed to visitors. A charming overseas Vietnamese girl in a traditional Vietnamese ao dai was mobilized to receive guests and introduce and promote dragon fruit products.

Dragon fruit is processed right at the fair into 2 dishes: fresh dragon fruit and dragon fruit smoothie. The Trade Office targeted 5-star hotels that organize national day receptions and high-class parties with fresh dragon fruit desserts. And the dragon fruit smoothie is for the chain of juice smoothie stores to serve all customers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep Ha said that on the first day of the opening of the fair, the Vietnamese pavilion stood out with a basket of bright red dragon fruits on an eye-catching display. And after only a short time, Vietnamese dragon fruit products were famous throughout the fair, attracting the attention of many visitors. The organizers of the fair had to go to the Vietnamese booth to register to welcome high-ranking delegations and diplomatic delegations.

According to Ms. Ha, Vietnamese dragon fruit products not only won the hearts of most visitors but also become the most prominent event of the International Fair “My Karachi-Oasis of Harmony” 2023. It contributes to enhancing the prestige of the fair among the business community and local government leaders.

After the end of the International Fair "My Karachi-Oasis of Harmony" 2023, Vietnamese dragon fruit products have taken another important step on the way to penetrating Pakistan's market.
