The agreement signing ceremony of “Helping farmers in digital conversion in production and consumption of agricultural products and goods of the period 2021 - 2025” between Vietnam Post and the Farmer’s Union.
Within the framework of the forum “Farmers with agricultural digital conversion” held on December 2nd, Vietnam Post Corporation and Vietnam Farmer’s Union signed the cooperation agreement “Helping farmers in digital conversion in production and consumption of agricultural products and goods within the period 2021 - 2025.”
The agreement signing ceremony between the two parties opened up opportunities for cooperation and initiation of farmer training, consumption aiding, implementing the supply chain of agricultural products in the country as well as connecting the export of Vietnam’s high-quality agricultural products to the global market.
Through the connecting of “the four factions”: farmers, cooperatives - logistics, supply chains - suppliers, exporters, consumption promotion centres - financiers, banks, insurance, Vietnam Post will engage in all stages from instructing the people to approach exchange platforms, consulting products to achieve the highest efficiency when supplying to the market, bringing the best value for the people, avoiding supply surplus leading to a price decrease.
Additionally, the Corporations also applied the digital platforms of Vietnam Post in identifying farmers, putting agricultural products on Postmart.vn EC platform, Postpay digital payment and finance, Postal credit for agricultural production development… and many other activities.

Discussing in the forum, Head Executives Chu Quang Hao also shared about the digital ecosystem for agriculture digital transformation and the initial success of Vietnam Post in the implementation of Decision 1034 to support agricultural production households on the e-commerce platform, promoting the development of the digital economy in agriculture and rural areas.
“The Postmart.vn EC platform is built by Vietnam Post with the mission of making Vietnam’s agricultural products overcome the current limit. In just more than 3 months since deployment, Vietnam Post has put nearly 3 million farmer residents on the platform and aided farmers in the consumption of more than 20,000 tons of agricultural products.
"With the advantages of network, infrastructure and logistics, Vietnam Post not only help farmers to converse business in a digital environment but also accompanies them on stages of harvesting, packaging, preserving to transporting for consumption and connecting and promoting export to bring high-value typical agricultural products to the world market," said Mr. Chu Quang Hao.
In the upcoming future, Vietnam Post will continue to engage deeply in bringing the people to exchange platforms, coordinating with localities, cooperatives, suppliers,... to promote support for the consumption of agricultural products through Postmart.vn EC platform, from there aiding the people in economic development, aiming towards successful agricultural digital transformation.
