According to information from Tam Dao National Park, the unit received a report from Tay Thien Pagoda in Vinh Phuc Province about two stump-tailed macaque individuals who entered the pagoda to disturb and were trapped by the people at Thach Dan Mountain, Dai Dinh Town, Tam Dao District.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan, Deputy Head of the Tam Dao National Park Forest Protection Department, said, "These two macaque individuals often entered Tay Thien Pagoda and nearby residential areas to disturb, so they were trapped by the people. After that, the pagoda mobilized people and contacted the Tam Dao National Park Forest Protection Department to release them into the forest."

After receiving the report, the Tam Dao National Park Forest Protection Department’s staff coordinated with Tay Thien Pagoda to disseminate and mobilize people to hand over and release the two macaque individuals into the forest, far away from residential areas.
