On the global market, rubber prices continue to fluctuate in mixed directions.

Global rubber prices today are rising sharply in Japan but have declined in China.
Mr. George Valy, Chairman of the Indian Rubber Dealers Federation, stated that last year’s output reached 875,000 tons (8.75 lakh tons), and this year it could rise to 950,000 tons (9.5 lakh tons), particularly with the expansion of new tapping areas in the Northeast region.
He also noted that RSS IV rubber in India is hovering around ₹195, while block rubber on the international market has dropped to ₹150. However, this has not affected domestic sheet rubber prices, as tire manufacturing companies have recently made large purchases at favourable rates.
In Germany, luxury automaker BMW announced that it expects some tariffs on cars exported to the U.S. to be reduced starting in July, but warned that current tariff levels would have a “significant” impact on business performance in Q2/2025.
Thus, global rubber prices on May 9, 2025, have mainly increased compared to the previous day.
In the domestic market, rubber latex prices remained stable compared to yesterday.
