Continuing to respond to the 1 billion trees planting program, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Tri province distributes it with volunteer units to receive and deploy the second tree planting in 2021.
This program is to change the community's minds about the plantation, people's treatment of nature, and take action for life on earth. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has planted 20,500 golden oak trees in the past few days.
According to the 1 billion trees planting program plan, organizations and individuals will support the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Tri province with about 100,000 trees. In the first phase (early 2021), the province received 20,000 trees of all kinds.
In this second phase, the province received and planted 20,500 golden oak trees. These trees are allocated in Truong Son National Cemetery, Road 9, districts, cities, and towns.
Quang Tri Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will accompany this program by supporting seed varieties, selecting planting sites, connecting with local authorities and people, and integrating other activities.
In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will continue to call for more companions and support units to implement the program effectively and deploy the program to many localities in the province.
