Mr. Dao Van Ho, Director of the Center for Agricultural Trade Promotion (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), said that by the end of November 2021, the export turnover of agriculture, forestry, and fishery products is estimated at more than US$ 43 billion (increased by 14.2% compared to 2020). It is forecasted that by the end of 2021, the export turnover of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products will reach US$ 47 billion, exceeding the assigned plan.
To continue to realize the set goals of growth, sustainable development, and international integration, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has come up with many solutions, including solutions to promote the development of the consumer market through activities connecting supply and demand, connecting agricultural product consumption.

The 2021 regional specialty agricultural fair in Hanoi is one of the critical trade promotion activities organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center to connect supply and demand in the chain value of agricultural products between enterprises, production cooperatives with supermarkets, food stores, retail systems, consumers, etc. in Hanoi City.
In addition, the 2021 regional specialty agricultural fair in Hanoi supports units to develop production, business and exploit the domestic market with the motto "Vietnamese people trust and use Vietnamese goods", "Vietnamese products conquer Vietnamese consumers".
It is also an opportunity to propagate, promote the brand, honor high quality agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, organic products, OCOP; contributing positively to the production, processing, and consumption of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products in a sustainable way, contributing to supporting localities, enterprises, and cooperatives to restore production.

The fair took place from December 17 to 19 at the Economic and Commercial Transaction Exhibition Fair Area (located in No.489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi City), with a scale of 30 booths, including a wide variety of products produced according to organic standards, food safety, and hygiene, and regional specialties.
Within the fair framework, many other practical and beneficial activities such as displaying and introducing products of units will be held (from December 17 to 19). In addition, an online forum to connect to promote the production and consumption of vegetables, fruits, and agricultural products in the North will be held on December 18.
