Mr Do Gia Khanh - Director of Hai Phong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said that the OCOP product fair helps business establishments, enterprises, and cooperatives share opportunities for cooperation as well as trade promotion, image promotion, product design, and market access.

Through the event, the potentials and strengths in agricultural production and OCOP products of the Red River Delta provinces in general and Hai Phong City, in particular, will be introduced. Consequently, this will help OCOP units, businesses, and product owners expand exchanges, and seek opportunities for cooperation and consumption of agricultural products. At the same time, promote the brand of safe agricultural products and OCOP products, creating opportunities to connect and exchange between domestic and foreign businesses to promote trade promotion and export of agricultural products.

“The fair held in Hai Phong is an opportunity to promote tourism, cuisine, culture and people of the Port City to provinces and cities nationwide. In particular, this will be an opportunity to promote trade, promote and introduce OCOP products. Regionally specific products are an opportunity to trade and sign contracts between manufacturers and businesses and consumers in the City and other provinces", Mr Khanh informed.
