Vuc Mau Lake, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province will deploy the construction of solar power plants.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just approved the investment policy of 2 solar power generation projects in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town with a total investment of VND 7,800 billion. Notably, both solar power projects will be deployed on large lakes.
Accordingly, Vuc Mau Lake Solar Power Plant Project, also working as an investor, has been approved with an area of 216.2ha in the heart of Vuc Mau Lake, which belongs to 3 communes including Quynh Thang, Tan Thang (Quynh Luu) and Quynh Trang of Hoang Mai town. The project has a capacity of 200 MWp, with an electricity output of 265.8 million KWh in the first year and a total investment of VND 3,700 billion.
The solar power plant project invested by Khe Go MK Solar Power Joint Stock Company at Khe Go lake, Tan Son commune, Quynh Luu district has a capacity of 250 MWp and produced more than 339 million KWh of electricity in the first year; the total investment is VND 4,100 billion, utilizing an area of nearly 303.5 ha in Khe Go lake bed, Tan Son commune.
The Provincial People's Committee requires relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of districts and towns with relating functions and duties to appraise, inspect and advise the province in a timely manner, ensuring that states of investment’s process, conditions and the environment are according to regulations, creating a condition for investors to complete their investment, survey and construction procedures as planned.
According to expectation, from February to December 2022, investors will complete the legal investment procedures and start the installation and installation of designated categories from January 2023 and in December 2023, the project will inaugurate energizing and operate commercially.
